A Strawberry Day

Several times, over this past month, we've driven past a sign advertising for you to come and pick your very own strawberries. We love strawberries in our house. Whether you're simply eating them out of the box, dehydrating them into little candies, or making a fancy recipe with them-I could eat them all day.

Big A had the day off yesterday, and we didn't have any plans, so we decided 'why not?'

It was a gorgeous day, the sun high in the sky and not a cloud to be seen-a redhead's nightmare! I lathered up my boys in sunscreen, and then we were good to go. Little A picked the first berry of the day.

And didn't let go of it until it was time to go home.

We went at like the PERFECT time. It wasn't too busy, and the choice you had between strawberries was endless.

It was the first time either of us had ever visited a farm, and it truly was a delightful afternoon.

We ended up filling an entire gallons worth of strawberries, and were able to take them home for only 10 bucks! It was nice, because we were guaranteed that every single one of our berries was perfect, and up to our standards.

Strawberries aren't in season for much longer, so we'll definitely be taking another trip soon.

Until next time,
Savannah
